After lunch the trail through a cloud forest, then the inca tunnel there is a gentle climb to the third pass then to phyupatamarka, the Cloud-Level Town. From there you can see down to the Urubamba river, Aguas Caliente (the closest city from Machu Picchu) and the terraces of Intipata or Wiñawayna, and the snow-capped peak of Salcantay (6,270 metres) or Intipunku, the sun gate among other mountains....

From Phupatamarka (3550m) and going down the never ending 2000 stairs (you will hear my creepy laugh) to Intipata, the fourth archiological ruin for the day right before heading to our campsite at Winay Wayna.
